Privacy Policy
What Sent Forth keeps, why, who can see it, and how to have it removed.
Who we are
Sent Forth is a service of Wolf Ventures. Questions about this policy: info@wolfventures.ai.
What we collect
Your account: your name, email address, a password stored only as a salted hash, and the role your family gave you.
What you add for your missionary: messages, photos, voice messages, short videos, links and time capsule items, with who added them and when.
Your missionary’s details that the family enters: their name, mission, dates, missionary email address, and the letters and photos the family chooses to add.
Technical basics needed to keep you signed in and the service secure, such as a session cookie. We do not use advertising, tracking pixels or third party analytics.
Who can see what
Each family’s space is private. Only people the family invites, or approves after they sign up, can see anything in it.
Messages for the missionary are sealed with a key only the missionary holds. They are sent to the missionary in the weekly email and kept as their record.
Wolf Ventures staff do not read family content. We access it only when you ask us for help, or when the law requires it.
Connected email
You can connect your own email so Sent Forth can send from your address when you tap Send, for example the weekly email to your missionary. With Google, we ask for one permission only: send email on your behalf. Google enforces that limit, so we cannot open, read, search or delete anything in your mailbox.
You sign in on Google’s own page; we never see your password. We never download or store your email, contacts or calendar. We keep one thing: a send-only key from Google, encrypted and tied to your account. The words of an email you send are not kept after it goes.
Disconnect at any time in the app: the permission is cancelled at Google right away and the key is deleted. You can also remove it in your Google Account’s security settings.
Sent Forth’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to send the email you ask us to send. It is never used for advertising, never sold, never shared with anyone else, and never used to train any AI model.
How it is used
To run the service: signing you in, delivering the weekly email, and sending you account emails such as an invitation or a sign in code.
Before something is saved for a missionary, an automated safety check looks at it once (an AI model reads the words, looks at a photo, or transcribes a voice message) so nothing inappropriate reaches them. Only a yes or no is kept. Nothing you add is used to train any AI model.
We never sell, rent or trade your information, and never use it for marketing.
Where it is kept
On servers run for us by our hosting and database providers, in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest.
How long, and your choices
Your account and your family’s space stay until you delete them. When a mission ends, the missionary can keep their record, download everything to their own computer, or close the space.
To see, correct, download or delete what we hold about you, use your account settings or email info@wolfventures.ai.
Children
The service is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you and ask you to agree again.
